Cannot be killed by the player directly. She IS killed by Knight Lautrec of Carim, scripted to trigger once the player either rings both Bells of Awakening or collects two specific Fire Keeper Souls. Her death makes the Firelink bonfire unusable for resting (though still usable to warp), and her body drops her clothing and a Black Eye Orb.

Dialogue progression

She is mute (her tongue was removed to prevent her from taking a god's name in vain) -- no spoken dialogue tree. After Lautrec kills her, the player can use the Black Eye Orb dropped at her cell to invade Lautrec's world in Anor Londo; defeating him yields her Fire Keeper Soul, which can be returned to her cell to revive her and restore her services.
